Diagnosis
Eyes large, DE/DO = 3.3; with grooves in front of posterior ocelli; scutellum smooth or with engraved and weak reticulation; small species, 1.4-1.6 mm. Similar to cyaneoviridis but with scutellum smooth or with very weak reticulation and metallic dark purple; also similar to discus but with female gaster long and acuminate; differs from both in having setation on flagellum different: with longer and more erect setae.
